{ Organized Mess }

This past weekend I had one goal... to organize the laundry room and our closet. I have been reading my friend's blog, and she is super crafty, thrifty and inspiring! See for yourself, here!

Well she was my inspiration for wanting to be organized. Plus, she gave me the "tools" to do so. In this blog post, she gives you steps on how to successfully organize! Check it out. It will change.your.life. No, seriously!

Soooo without further ado I will give you my before and after pics of the laundry room:

I did just like she instructed! Before pics: check. Take everything out of the room and put in organized piles: check. Clean the shelves: check. Purchase some sassy baskets (on sale. at Target.): check. -- Give the appearance of organized mess: check. :) Pat myself on the back: check. Have the hubs pat me on the back: check. Send the pics to mom so she could pat me on the back: check. What? So I like to be patted on the back every once in while. :)

Ahem... anyway...

My favorite parts are the hints of green!!! That was a perfect accident!

I apologize... I know the pictures aren't super great -- they were taken from my phone.

I will post the pictures of the closet soon, I'm just not 100% satisfied with it just yet.
